Title
Nina Gogou-Tsaousi in Aretsou
Description
From this downhill path, you would descend to the beach of Aretsou. The photograph was taken from the refreshment stand on the slope. To the left is the parking lot, and high up on the rock, the "Bosporus" center of Penopoulos can be seen. Later, it became "Lusitania," "Andre Nu," "Anna Bell," and "Water Lily." The municipality established the "Fisherman's Cafe" and the cultural center "Propontis." Today, in 2024, the area hosts the "Progressive Association of Aretsou-Derkon" and the "Ouzeri en Plo." Behind it is the Arampoglou apartment building. At the end of the slope, there used to be a small tavern called "Akroyali," owned by Theologis Kitsidis. Today, it is the entrance to the Marina and the Port Authority.
