Aretsou beach in the 1960s

A group of Aretsian women and a man take a boat ride on the beach of Aretsou in the 1960s. On the land we can see under the rock the tavern ''Akrogiali'', and when there was a wave we could not pass, because the sea came up to the wall of the tavern, today it is the Coast Guard Outpost. On the rock is the Bosphorus Restaurant, today it is the Propodida i.e. the Progressive Association of Arechous - Derkon and the Ouzeri ''En plo'' 5 November 2023.  The uphill dirt road takes us to Plastira Street and the Park where today is the Municipality's refreshment room.
