The municipal council decides not to approve the minutes of the tender, which was held on 10/10/1949 for the supply of the necessary quantity of timber for the repair of the Aretsou's dock. The price obtained from the tender, 1 170 000 drachmas per metre of Swedish timber, is considered unprofitable. It shall appoint a committee to purchase the necessary quantity of timber from the open market without a competitive tender.
